Steps:
1. Create new Title+ title
2. Add a new text layer (layer 1)
3. Select single text item from the block of text
4. Try to change face color from effects window palate - double click on color swatch.
5. Color changes. Great! Let's try that again...
6. Select another text item and attempt to change color on its face.
7. Select (double click on color swatch) in the floating palate.
8. At this point, either the color does change or nothing happens. BUT NOW... trying to close any window or use any function becomes impossible. All functionality is greyed out.
9. Only way to move forward is to force quit.
Observed:
If I try changing the face color from the Effects control window, that seems to work. I was able to make several color changes before trying to use the color control in the floating palate. I notice that once the system locks up, the cursor appears as the color dropper icon when I hover it over the active effects control window or record side widow. It will display active color information in the small color info window as you move the cursor around, but double clicking doesn't affect any change. Nothing takes.
Expected:
Color controls should work from whichever control set is being used... the effects window or the floating palate.
Notes:
I've observed this problem with the Title+ tool since its introduction. I don't know if it's something specific to my operating system, or if it's related to the controls being split and/or duplicated across two windows. Nevertheless, it seems to have persisted across the most recent builds.
I gotta add that despite this issue, the tool does seem a little snappier. And many thanks to the team for adding a very clear and easy way of centering the text block horizontally and vertically. Slowly but surely, the tool is getting there.
