Ever since moving my sound and music libraries over to my internal RAID, I've noticed that MC lags horribly. I click on a bin, wait a couple of seconds, then it highlights. I hit PLAY, wait a couple of seconds, it plays.
As soon as I rename the "Avid MediaFiles" folder so Avid doesn't see it, the lag disappears.
I currently have 112 folders inside of "Avid MediaFiles," and I've made sure that none of them have more than 5000 files in them.
Is there a way to have a lot of media on a RAID without slowing down the application?
