After using 7.06.1 for as long as possible, finally had to upgrade to 8.6.1 Very pleased with most of this version, however an older project that I've had for years with many bins in it (an ongoing series), would not open some of the bins in 8.6.1 I took the project over to a MacBook Pro with 8.5.0 and the project and all bins opened with no issues. Both systems were running OSX 10.10.5
When I try to open a bin that 8.6.1 doesn't like, it says
"Exception: DOMAIN_COPYOUT_FAILED
Exception: STRM_UNEXPECTED_TAG, GotIllegalTag:4"
I've seen this error in other posts and tried a few of their solutions, but have not succeeded in opening these bins yet. I had to make a new XDCAM OP1a file and so I did it on the MacBook Pro with 8.5.0 instead of the MacPro with 8.6.1 (older machine Early 2009, 2 x 2.93 quad-core, Nitris DX). All other aspects of operation on the MacPro seem to be fine.
Any suggestions? I've put in a case but was just wondering if any one else was experiencing similar grief.
