Hi,
we have 5 HP Z440 Avid Artist DNxIO workstations running Media Composer 8.0 and they all have a 5 to 10 minutes hang/delay when launching the application. The delay affect the same way every user of the workstation. After this delay the application works regularly.
As suggested elsewhere, I already tried unplugging the network cable from the workstations but the delay remains the same.
When the workstations were new there was no problem, the startup delay increases gradually using the application day by day. We recently had to format and reinstall all of the software on one of them and of course it returned well working with no startup delay.
Does anybody knows how to fix this annoying problem?
Is there a way to cleanup the installation of Media Composer without loosing licence data and project files?
