Exception: cannot creaste the AMA sample mapper to play this clip

hi there - i am getting this error - out of the blue: Exception: cannot create the AMA sample mapper to play this clip.

any suggestions?

 working with sony f5 2k xavc material - have reinstalled the sony AMA plugin, that did not help.
