Importing Spanned Clips

Using MC6. Trying to import AVCHD files where some are spanned and some are not. I get the following message when importing.

"This file is not the first file of a spanned clip. This clip will be out of sync if the first file is not selected first."

I can then select "OK" and it will import the file, but I don't want to have to do this for every non-spanned file I come to. The non-spanned clips are the points where I stopped recording on the card and then started recording again some time later.

Is there a way to over come having to hit OK everytime it comes to a non-spanned file?
