TITLE TOOL AND IMPORT BUG

I am working with MC 8.5 on Macs OS Yosimite with Black Magic video output, on both new black towers and older silver ones.

MC becomes unresponsive and takes a long time when you import anything other than a video file or create titles.  If you wait long enough it will finish sometimes this is 5 min to create one text title.  It also takes a lot longer to export anything.

Any Help would be much appriciated
