I'm trying to get NewBlue Titler working within Avid but having some trouble. I've installed it via the Avid Application Manager and it will only let me install v2.5.1 but it is listed as NewBlue Titler Pro 2.0 & 2.5 which I already find confusing. I can now open it as a standalone application but within Avid if I click on the 'T' titles logo it does nothing and if I select 'Title Tool Application' it comes up with the error 'Please install NewBlue Titler and use it for this project size'. If I open the NewBlue Application Manager it says it is running v2.0.160404 for Titler Pro 2 for Avid.
I can open it within Avid if I go through the route of dragging and dropping it as an effect form the Effect Palette but would I would like to do is promote pre-existing titles in my sequence to Titler Pro 2 titles which I thought was possible but can't see how.
I'm running Avid MC 8.6.5 in Sierra but was also having the same issue running it under El Capitan on MC 8.6.4
Any help would be hugely appreciated as I have a deadline I am working to and really don't want to have to recreate hundreds of titles from scratch.
