I'm stumping on a very strange behaviour:
We have this sequence edited in 1080p23,976 that we have to output to a 1080i59,94 MXF-OP1a XDCAM. So we do a mixdown of the 23 sequence in DNxHD175X, place the 23 media created in a 59,94i sequence and export the XDCAM file from this sequence where the pulldown is applied.
What happen is that there are glitches, and I mean BIG glitches in my picture in my final output.
We tried to export a 59,94i DNxHD MXF (no glitches there) and compress the XDCAM file with Resolve with the same glitching result.
The only efficient workaround we have found is through FinalCut Pro 7: we first export a DNxHD Quicktime, convert it to a ProRes Quicktime with Compressor (so the Gamma of the DNx is kept by FCP) and export the MXF with FCP.
But we would rather prefer not to use this very time consuming workaround.
Is anybody having similar issues?
