Just a reminder that Apple has released the latest version of macOS (10.12.0) branded "Sierra."
At this time, no Avid software is qualified to run on Sierra. You will be notified when Sierra is supported.
In the meantime, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you use the App Store to DOWNLOAD but NOT INSTALL macOS 10.12.0. Once Apple releases 10.12.1 (without warning) 10.12.0 will no longer be available. You can download "combo" updaters to update the base version to any point release that follows, but you must have the base version.
Using the App Store, download the update, but when the installation starts, quit. You will see an application in your /Applications folder called "Install macOS Sierra". You can safely leave it there until needed to upgrade.
