AMA Link and Segmentation Fault Solution

I am working off MC8.4 on a MAC and I recently had a solution for this 'Segementation Fault error 'whilst AMA linking.

There is a folder called 'AMA Management' and it needs to be renamed by puting an X in front of it to stop the program referencing it. Then you relaunch MC and it will create a new AMA Management folder and the problem should be solved. It worked for me. 

To do this on a Mac:
Macintosh HD\Users\Shared\Avid MediaComposer\AMA Management

On Windows:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Avid Media Composer\AMA Management
