I just received shipment on a fairly powerful HP ZBook mobile workstation, I intend to use for offline purposes...
It came with Windows 7 Pro installed, but the package also included the Windows 10 Pro OS on a separate DVD.
Before I install Media Composer 8.6 on the system, it would be so helpful to know if it makes better sense to simply ditch Windows 7 Pro altogether, and install Windows 10 Pro.
Is there any advantage in performance, or other factors, regarding MC with Windows 10 over Windows 7? I don't really care that much about any other software... This system is dedicated only for Avid editing.
I couldn't find the answer by searching the web, so I'm hopeful I'm can get some insight from some real pros.
