in 8.5.3 (10.10.5) the preview of the SubCap is not played in realtime, it is sluggish and working with it is nearly impossible.
I think we had this issue a wile ago and it got fixed. In 8.5.3 it is again an issue.
So in 8.5.3 working with subs is no fun, in 8.6.1/.2 XDCam-Consolidate is slow as hell and in 8.6.3 SubCap isn't working at all. Good job.
Maybe Avid should work on one working version of Media Composer instead of patching 4, 5(?) different versions to death.
For me you can pull back every version up from 8.4.5.
