Hi, every one. I have done som googeling, but would appreciate the inputs of the community.
We are running several Composer Suites up against an ISIS 5000 with about 21TB.
In the past we have been working in XDCAM 50 (native), but we are now concidering transcoding all future projects in DNxHD due to the short GOP that makes everything a bit easier in terms of exporting via Sorenson, FX, and onlining and grading in Resolve.
What would be the best DNxHD to transcode to?

Logically, the closest one to go with contra XDCAM 50 would be DNxHD 60, right? But here the DNxHD is listed as an offline codec.
I have heard that others are transcoding in DNxHD 120, wich is the one we are concidering. However, is this overkill, with the size issue and everything? Will the 120 take up a ****load of space for no good reason?
Maybe I'm way out here, but please correct me!
Thank you all,
Sindre
