Before I begin, I just want to say a huge Thanks to all who contribute to this community. This place has provided me with invaluable information on many occasions throughout the years. I really do appreciate it.
This is my first time actually logging in and asking a question here. It is in regards with dealing with Arriraw footage in Media Composer. I bought the Glue Tools plug-in that allows to link to arriraw files. After linking, when I click on one of the files in the bin and go to source settings and check Source color space, it says its in "Rec709/2020 gamma (0-255(16bits)"
Now, what I don't understand is why is it saying this for color space. Shouldn't it be reading "Arri Alexa LogC" since this is arriraw? Does this matter at all? Just wondering if I'm missing something here or is Media Composer not interpreting correctly. Has anybody else noticed this?
