This is a weird issue with our IO.
When opening 1080p23,976 projects, the IO sometime sets itself to NTSC and send a downconverted picture to the monitors. Desktop Utility is set to 1080p23,976 before launching MediaComposer. If I change my project setting to 720p23 or UHD23,976, the IO changes to the pointed format. But when switching back to 1080p, the IO doesn't switch to 1080p and stays to the format set before.
I power-cycled the system (computer and IO), and when I opened the project in 1080p23, the IO setted itself correctly, but cropped the 2/3 of the bottom of the frame. Power-Cycled again: back to the NTSC bug.
I have worked around the problem by settng the project format to 720p and upconverting to 1080i through the SDI-B output so the editor can work, but I'm looking for a fix to this issue more than a workaround.
Anybody had similar problems?
