After updating to MC 8.5.3, the actual MediaComposer version doesen't start anymore! I reinstalled it three times ...no success.
First it seems to start normaly ... all different intializing seems to load but at the end ther is the word "initialising ..." and avid is freezing and no windows (canvas, etc.) appearing. Then I must quit Avid MC 8.5.3 with the Force Quit Application. What is that? Where I should search to resolve this bug?
I am a longtime user of MC but this versions 8.x are really buggy on start. I had problems like this on every version from 8.2 to 8.5, had a phonecall with the support, then it worked a wile good but now this again. ... don't touch a running system" the lifetime mantra for Avid MC! Such a shame ...
