Hey everyone. I know this might be kind of off topic, but was hoping for some advice or hints. Our agency is changing the way we deliver videos for on-air playback. We used to send ProRes .mov files and Master Control would take care of getting them onto the playout server.
Now, we are being asked to deliver broadcast ready OP1a .MXF files. That's not a problem, I know how to create those. The problem is we are also being asked to add additional metadata to the files, including TRT, Program name and description and a custom identifier.
Does anyone know of any programs for Mac that can insert metadata into an MXF file? I've found exiftool, but that's a command line program and I want to try to make this as easy as possible for the team here. Most of the other programs I've found are designed for stills and not video files.
We're running 2 MC seats, v7 and v8.3 on MacPros running OS 10.10.
Thanks much for your help and advice!
