Recently I had problems with windowserver eating up too much of my MacPro(Harperstown, specs in profile)processor speed. I did a few tweeks and fixed that problem but now on my secound monitor when a pop up menu like the quick transition options come up I have to first click on its top gray bar before it will let me change any options. I have Mac OS 10.10.5 and MC 8.3.1 which has worked fine till this minor but annoying problem. Also the render time window occassionly does not appear Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?
Just reading through a few post. Would I better off upgrading MC to 8.4.4 to match OS 10.10.5? And could this be part of the problem? I know my mac is getting a little long in the tooth but will not be able to upgrade for a few more months so I want to keep this one chuging along.
