Best Shared Storage Alternative to ISIS or Unity

Hey guys

Right now I have 5 MAC PRO EDIT BAYS running on AVID MC 7 on 10.7.5, that are connected to a Unity 5 through Fibre cards and a ISIS 5500, although the ISIS is just one engine and the Unity is a maxed out Unity 5 with lots of racks.

I want to upgrade to El Capitan and MC 8.5 but the Unity holds me back from that, I also don't work in uncompressed, I always work in DNX 145 or Pro Res and even down the road if I worked in 4k it'd be a compressed version.

I'm trying to find the best storage solution that still supports AVID Volume locks and bin locks.

So far I've found Sonnet's  RX1600 FIBRE and Terrablock, the other choice I found was using SANFUSION.COM 's software to allow an XSAN server to work like the Unity when AVID Mac's are connected even on MC 8.5 and El Capitan. The RX1600 is $15k per 96TB and I'm thinkign I can connect that through fibre and it already allows bin and volume locking on the AVID end.

What do you guys suggest?  I need like 200TB of space so the AVID hardware route is too pricey but I need 8 edit bays to be able to access it just like the Unity allowed.

My preferred option is to have one central server, 200TB, running Ethernet Gigabit connections to my edit bays,  but Fibre will do too just its more pricey to get up and running.

Thanks let me know!
